The history of Monastic SEB School
Monastic Secondary English Boarding School was established in 1986 by Dr. Mithilesh Kumar Sah. He first started the school at his village, Matihani, Nepal when he was still a medical student. The school was established in a small building at Mathaini with 3 boys and 2 girls. In late 1986 the school moved to Janakpurdham (kingdom of king janak - Hindu mythology) at rented building in Bhanuchowk. Originally only kindergarten and primary classes were offered, but as the students progressed through the school, the higher levels were offered till 10+2.
